XTRAC Psoriasis Laser Cures Skin Condition For Up to 6 Months

{1~83} Over 6 million people suffer from psoriasis in the United States. Persons who suffer from this common skin condition in colder and drier climates often experience much more discomfort than those in humid locations.

It is possible now to endure winter without scaly, itchy skin. Treatment is so easy and only takes a few minutes, and after just a few sessions, psoriasis is gone for up to 6 months at a time.

Psoriasis treatment with the XTRAC laser is covered by insurance, so the end cost is exactly the same as filling the prescription for one of those messy creams that doesn't work anyway.

Medical lasers are useful for all kinds of issues - most commonly for things like LASIK for laser eye surgery, removal of tattoos, fraxel for melasma, Thermage for loose skin and stretch marks, unusual pigmentation, fotofacial, broken capillaries, large pores, acne treatment, and the list goes on.

Most psoriasis sufferers do not even know that a laser is available that actually makes the condition go away. If you’ve already been treated with lasers for other issues, it’s not a surprise to you that a laser would be the answer for treating psoriasis either.

Dr. Morris Westfried of Brooklyn, New York says that "as a dermatologist, I see so many patients who aren’t even aware that this laser exists for the treatment of psoriasis. They have learned to live with it for so long that it doesn’t occur to them that a better treatment might be out there."

The most successful candidates for treatment with the XTRAC psoriasis laser are persons with mild to moderate psoriasis. Symptoms begin to subside after the first treatment, but can require four to ten treatments to completely suppress the psoriasis. After the initial round of treatment, a few maintenance visits will help keep the psoriasis from coming back indefinitely.

XTRAC really works – symptoms can be nonexistent in as little as four short sessions and results last for several months before reoccurring. The treatment is not time consuming and eliminates the need for messy creams. The laser does not use UV light and has less risks than all of the other treatments currently available for psoriasis.
