HOUSTON, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Skinovative, one of the country's premier aesthetic medical facilities, has just added the newest FDA approved non-invasive body contouring procedure, the Zerona Laser, to their list of treatment options. The Zerona is a low-level laser designed to remove fat and contour the body without invasive surgery. Recent clinical studies which tracked the circumferences of patient's waist, hips, and thighs, showed total reduction ranging from 3 to 9 inches with an average of 5 to 6 six inches, in just 2 weeks. The Zerona(TM) laser is a hot topic in the cosmetic industry; it has been featured on CBS's "The Doctors" and several regional news channels. Since no recovery time is needed, clients are able to resume normal activities immediately." Bailey went on to say, "Zerona clients are treated six times over two weeks. Each of the six sessions takes 40 minutes. Treatment is delivered 20 minutes to the front of the body and 20 minutes to the back of the body. Clients are able to have the front and back of their waist, hips, and thighs treated all at the same time, or focus on one or other areas." Dr. Gomez said, "In addition to making a person look better, the new Zerona treatment may also make them healthier. While the treatment is not yet FDA-cleared for that purpose, blood tests performed before and after the procedure during the clinical trials have suggested some improvement in cholesterol and triglyceride levels."
